Today would have been Lester Bangs 65th B happy day.
Unfortunately
Mr. Bangs
had a lot of demons
and only made it on this plane of existence till
he was 33.
Which at the moment
was
5 years ago
for me.
Lester would go on though to be immortalized in Cameron Crowe's
Almost Famous
and I highly encourage anyone interested in the golden era of Rock n Roll's death nail to
check out the Untitled cut
of that movie.
I've been wanting to post this scene in other posts.
