I read somewhere that Los Angeles is basically where the rest of the country will be in about 5 to 10
years.
Smoking in restaurants and bars was outlawed in California back in the mid nineties and now the rest of the country has been following suit ever so slowly.
Prop 8, being one of those what the fuck moments in history or that the war on drugs has gone to pot dispensaries.
So of course that doesn't exactly mean that the population of California is necessarily as a whole is the most enlightened in the known universe.

important photo op opportunities.
Now, I'm not exactly prone to drop a dime on a bag that I don't need and
I'm glad that we're becoming a bit more conscious on
the re-cock-u-less-ness of the waist
we dump onto this planet.
Even if it's at the loss of common sense as one of my friends had articulated so well early today:
"Yesterday
I was at the store and the cashier asked me if I wanted to pay for a
bag and I said
"Sure I'll pay for a bag."
So she bags what she could
into one bag and
left the rest of my items sitting on the counter...
moved onto the next customer.
I said
"umm, what about these items?"
and
she replied
"you said you only wanted one bag."
I had to laugh at the
absurdity of it all.
I crammed everything else into my purse
and
overfilled the rest of the ONE bag I had purchased."
